I customized the June Marquise Solitaire *with a 3mm band (vs. standard 1.8mm) for durability, and it’s a game-changer. The 1.5ct marquise (E/VS+) looks like a 2ct face-up, and the thicker band balances the elongated shape. I don't seem to see any bowtie effects which I was told to watch out for. Quality is good but u want to pick the right ring size as they don't do free resizing.

After some research, I chose Alyastone’s 3ct round cathedral pavé as a gift for myself. The round brilliant cut is fiery, and the hidden pavé diamonds on the band are impressive (though they do snag sweaters). The cathedral setting really lifts the stone just enough to make it look HUGE.
