I customized the June Marquise Solitaire *with a 3mm band (vs. standard 1.8mm) for durability, and itβs a game-changer. The 1.5ct marquise (E/VS+) looks like a 2ct face-up, and the thicker band balances the elongated shape. I don't seem to see any bowtie effects which I was told to watch out for. Quality is good but u want to pick the right ring size as they don't do free resizing.

After some research, I chose Alyastoneβs 3ct round cathedral pavΓ© as a gift for myself. The round brilliant cut is fiery, and the hidden pavΓ© diamonds on the band are impressive (though they do snag sweaters). The cathedral setting really lifts the stone just enough to make it look HUGE.
